Muslim Day Parade-NYC-2012 (Updated w/Videos)

The Annual Muslim Day Parade. September 23, 2012. NYC.The Theme this year, "Islam Advocates Peace and Justice for All".

They say."Since 1983, The Muslim American Day Parade has brought together Muslim-Americans from the five boroughs and beyond, celebrating the rich, cultural traditions of a faith that has provided hope, support, and comfort to generations of New Yorkers."

The Grand Marshall this year was Councilman Robert Jackson, a "revert" to Islam. At a previous Muslim Day Parade, Councilman Jackson proudly declared that Harlem is the "NEW Mecca"  (what a guy)



The routine doesn't change. By 12:30 the wudu 'trough' is being set up.

The NYPD Marching Band waits to lead the parade down Madison Ave (always to "This Is My Country"



The floats are the same each year. And every where you look, there are rude, offensive (dare I say, blasphemous) messages that ignore history and perpetuate the many Lies Of Islam



Where are the Christians and Jews with their signs. Would they even be allowed?



This sign kept popping up in different places. Not sure if there was more than...or if it was the same sign:



This was a new 'patriotic' niqab from Puerto Rico and the Black Flag of al-Queda aka the black flag of jihad.



And of course , before they marched, there was the obligatory BIG SHOW of Muslim prayer on Madison Ave:

One we arrive at Madison Sq Park, the tables selling abayas and hijabs are popular with the women.And the food...the chicken...very popular



Wonder why some wear the niqab. It seems most do not.





There was a small showing for the 'Fakestinians'





And lots of dawa , dawa, dawa lies to confuse the naive.







And the book table and many topics as well as the Muslim blasphemy calling Jesus Christ a Prophet who is lower than Big Mo. ( Book Title: Jesus a Prophet of Islam)



In spite of these offenses and the return of the obscene Piss Christ 'art' work, no Christian "savages" appeared on the scene burning flags and destroying embassies.  I did catch these two niqabbed ladies attempting to have a chat:

OWS Returns to Times Sq, 1 year later

Sunday evening. Midnight. September 16-17, 2012


 

“Occupy the Big Screen at Times Square” was hardly an “occupation”. Leading up to the “Big Day” on the 17th, this small rag-tag group of the disaffected headed to Times Square ready to spread more “Peace” and “Love” while smirking and spewing hatred for America.

On the OWS site, this was described as a “March from Occupy Trinity on Wall Street “down” (down??) Broadway to Times Square….leave at 10pm. At midnight on September 16th, as it becomes September 17th….take over the big screen with our birthday party!” (take over? hardly).



They drifted away about 30 minutes after arrival (around 12:45) Ho-Hum….zzzzzz…..



Except some of  the Fake “Legal”Green-Hats:

 


Police actually have a Legal Team on-site now:

I had already decided to avoid Wall St. next morning  (7 AM-too early). These jerks will try to take over the streets with sit-downs and the city will be hit with a large over-time bill from the NYPD.



Annoying. Tedious. Costly. A waste of time and resources while they world is going up in flames.



There will be  arrests (they plan on it) amidst cries of police brutality. But, that will be Monday morning. Sept. 17. Been there.Gonna pass on Monday.




But did not pass on Sunday early AM and some special time with”the children”.

There was only a small group of anarchists who made the follow-the-leader march, banging drums and chanting, from lower Manhattan to Times Sq.




When they ‘took’ Duffy Square, pieces of danish pastries were shared as birthday “cake”



Birthday songs mixed in with the usual anti-American chants and the American flag held up-side (of course).



 



A closer look at the ‘disaffected’ was odoriferous (bathing is still a low priority).


The unwashed assembly shouted to the tourists that they are doing this for us, “the 99%”. How sweet. ….




Ever so  briefly this fellow messed up and held the flag correctly :-)





Honor? Good-Will? Respect? Not from these rejects. Most are quite young

 


(some obviously a bit older) All yearning to “belong” to a RE-VO-LU-TION



Tools created by the Marxist take-over of our schools, churches and colleges. (this fellow warned all to watch out for friendly strangers…they might be POLICE)

 


Obama must be very proud. Peace. Love. Change.



But, the closest this bunch got to an ‘occupation’  of the Big Screen over the Eagles Store was this slide. It went by a couple of times while I was there. You had to catch it fast.

 

Somebody ‘up there’ loves them. Somebody let them use the Big Screen. Who got the Eagles corporate machine to to side with their ‘enemy’.



“End Corporate Person-hood” required a mic-check moment, “Remind the people of the world, there’s more to life than spending money: wall street money“

Messages meant to “win” us over to their cause? Often made no sense (to me )

 



A happy song, brought lots of giggles. “When the Saints go marching in” became ” became "When the stocks go crashing down” ( so cute)

The cost for security is spiraling for our "911 Freedom Congress".




Imagine, eleven  years after September 11, a conference on free speech in the heart of New York City requires these intense measures. Hindus Protest Indian Congress & Sharia Law NYC 5 Ave & 64th St

Sept. 2, 2012. A protest against the Indian Congress that is Anti-Hindu and Pro-Islam.




A  "Charge Sheet against the Congress Govt. of India"



"Save the Tribal Indians. Save the Hindus". Kick out Congress."





Short video of the chants (not all were in English,) but did manage to catch "Say NO to Sharia Law"





The organizers were The Indian American Intellectuals Forum; Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America; Hindu Human Rights Watch and Indian Heritage Foundation of Lansing, Michigan.

A very small rally in opposition was supporting the Indian Congress. An anti-Hindu counter-protest preaching 'peace' by forming an alliance with the "Religion of Peace"... aka Islam... and ignoring the victims cries for help.




But, the Hindu victims are NOT being ignored as these signs made very  clear.



Valiant protestors demand that " Islam stops persecuting and mass murdering non-Muslims"




"HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL! NO TO SHARIA LAW in US OR INDIA!"

"Free,Free Syria" Protest, Garment District- NYC (Sept 2012)

Came across a very small protest while walking uptown at 40th Street and 7th Avenue ; late afternoon, September 1, 2012



Not the usual location for protest in Times Square.



Perhaps it was an impromptu protest.



It was hot (about 90) Only police presence was an air conditioned van, with police watching from inside.





No flyers. Some signs were in Arabic.





Some in English



They were not very pleased that I was taking pictures, so ... Who they were reaching out to?



In the video, I noticed , one fellow held an Egyptian flag while others held the three-star Syrian flags of Independence (from 1930's).



Recognized the speaker as someone from Fakestinian rallies.





Not sure these rallies accomplish much of anything.



Preaching  to the 'choir' ....
