Pro-Israel -Pro-Idan Raichel Rally was held outside the Beacon Theatre in NYC, April 12, 2015.
Raichel is a unique Israeli cultural ambassador, whose music is a bridge to mutual understanding."
A Pinocchio balloon loomed large over the pro-Israel/Pro-Idan supporters, aimed straight at the anti-Israel BDS crowd, mocking perfectly the stream of lies that came from the Adalah's as they maligned Idan Raichel and Israel.
Those who came out to counter the Adalah/BDS'rs, sang happily and carried Israeli flags, as well as the American flag.
"Our side out-numbered theirs by much more than 10:1 and exhibited tremendous energy and Ahavat Yisrael (Love of Israel)."
"On the evening of April 12th, on Manhattan’s upper West Side, the usual anti-Zionist and pro-Palestinian groups such as Adalah-NY, the BDS National Committee, and the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel protested the performance of an Israeli musician.
They had a sound system which blared anti-Israel, angry “black”-style rap hate music. Most were white leftists; two were visibly Arab-looking."
"It read: “What kind of musician is an ambassador for apartheid? Serenades soldiers who destroy homes, lives, and land? Feels happy with a state characterized by racism, violence, and land theft?”
”
"At the moment in history when Syrians are massacring Palestinians in the Yarmouk camp, about which neither President Obama nor the PLO seem to be doing anything—
This is how anti-Zionist pro-Palestinians chose to spend their time."

"Ironically, Adalah-NY
was protesting against the appearance of the Israeli mega-sensation,
Idan Raichel who was performing at the Beacon later that night. Ironic,
because Raichel
collaborates with and has created Israeli fusion music with Ethiopian
Jews, Yemenite Jews, and Jews from other diverse traditions, as well as
global fusion music with musicians from a large variety of ethnic and
religious backgrounds from around the world."
Raichel is a unique Israeli cultural ambassador, whose music is a bridge to mutual understanding."
There
was a solid counter-protest, between 125-200, who supported Israel as
well as Idan Raichel; challenging the predictable lies and agitprop sung
and chanted by the anti-Israel - BDS protestors.

Probably
the most insane leftist protest ever. Idan Raichel and apartheid? If it
weren't so sad, most Israelis would burst out laughing.

(Chesler) asked for a brochure.
" My friends-- Welcome to Upside-Down Land."
Continuing with Chesler) She engaged with one of the white pro-“Palestine” women (Sherry Wolfe) who told Chesler that “the people you are covering for endorse genocidal hatred and violence.”
The response, straight out of the Ivory Tower of multi-cultural relativism was this:
“We have our narratives and you have your narrative”
"At the moment in history when Syrians are massacring Palestinians in the Yarmouk camp, about which neither President Obama nor the PLO seem to be doing anything—
This is how anti-Zionist pro-Palestinians chose to spend their time."
