The protestors expressed their support for the “axis of resistance” against Israel and American occupation.
''We support Hamas here! We support Hezbollah here! We support resistance here!”.
Part 1 - Stand With Israel protestors were also there from Heruit and other pro Israel groups (I didn't have the names). The 1st few pics are the anti Zionists ignoring the NYPD and crossing 42nd st to get as close to the consulate as possible. That didn't last long as the pro Israel protestors demanded they be sent back across 42nd
Part 2- The Hamasniks led a small PROTEST AGAINST PRISONER EXECUTIONS near the Israeli consulate, mostly students and the Neturei "kaka"
NATE FRIEDMAN interviewed both sides, with the hamasniks very nasty as always.
Later, they marched from Israeli Consulate to Union Sq.

BUT, here is the TRUTH re the NAKBA
The Nakba was the Arab failure to exterminate the Jews of the land and erase Israel. That was their documented and declared goal. The Arabs weren't going to establish a "Palestinian' state- they were going to grab more land for themselves and not allow the Jews- who they view as "Dimmis" - second class citizens- to have their self determination. They're failure to destroy a tiny Jewish state was a HUMILIATION for them. That's the meaning of Nakba. [@bigpaddlingmike]
