WE MUST NOT BE SILENT
Today we had the privilege of starting the day (8 AM to be precise) with an event that featured the fastest growing Jewish newspaper, The Algemeiner Journal.
"A non-profit media organization that serves as a courageous, independent advocate for Jews and Israel" Their mission: "... to once and for all define the media narrative of Israel and the Jewish People" We must not let the MSM continue to re-write our history.
We saw a brief video on the Journal and their mission
and then we had the great pleasure of hearing from the honorable, Mike Huckabee.
Huckabee has a great love and respect for Israel. He made his first visit, of many, in 1973. He returns often.
The audience enjoyed his uplifting speech, asked many questions, and seemed to leave feeling energized and positive (in spite of these trying days)
Today the 'Fakestinians" were planning to celebrate their hoped-for UN recognition.
It was misting a steady light-rain, but a down-pour was predicted.
(We too can HOPE)
Around 11 AM I found the Fakestinians starting to set up in the misty-rain
Looking towards 1st Avenue, there was much more action,
So I moved East and found more ethnic groups than had been set up in this area on Thursday.
(And the UN covered in misty-fog.)
Falun (Dafa) Gong (always quiet). From their brochure, "A traditional Self-Cultivation Practice to Improve Mind and Body."
Their demonstrations are very peaceful....yoga-like...
And the Chinese Communist government is imprisoning them; murdering them with the intention of eradicating them.

And the largest group of people was from Guinea .
Something about an election and a new President.
This guy was very happy.

There was lots of dancing
and drums, drums, drums

Then I walked back to the Fakestine Rally, just as the RAIN started coming down.
The day before, the folk songs and dances of the Jewish/pro-Israel Rally had been uplifting. (joyful) Big difference today watching the ramped up young men of Fakestine running around with their flags. No folk dances today (so far) but the differences have always been all too obvious. They do war dances.
In spite of the down pour, the Netueri Karta Suicide Cult had joined the Fakestine Rally
As well as a few Muslim families. We were all quite wet. ( including the cameras) There were also the familiar Marxist/Leftists in the crowd.
As I was leaving, I noticed the first niqab on the day
And the police confiscating wooden sticks as they had done the day before: NO STICKS ALLOWED at NYC rallies.....
Left at noon to get to the next event. The EMPact America Press Conference: "Standing Up to Ahmadinejad: Military and National Security Policy Experts and First Responders Call on President Obama to Confront the Iranian Threat".
Four riveting hours. An exceptional panel spoke on the very REAL threat of Iran's Nuclear pursuits and EMPs. The head-in-the-sand approach our country and media has adopted is going to potentially get 200 mil killed with the first successful launch (link to this post will go up next)
