More than once it was easy to lose track of where you were; buses and bikes suddenly have the right of way and you think you're in a safe-zone: NOT good.
Next post will be on the Herald Square "NoGo" Zone. There we fear the bikes are gonna hit some one hard as the bikes went sailing through in both directions in what was supposed to be pedestrian-friendly: NOT!
And...the natives are so NOT HAPPY, Mr. Mayor. Even the NY Slimes ( (you can skip the ad when you open the link) had to report the grumblings in"Lose The Traffic..." here>

We did capture a little bit of the festivities on video:
The Brigade checked out the Times Square area at about 8 PM on the 26th---after the first full work day back...to see if the lawn-chairs were still out. They were! (Weird) Click the thumbnail to see the evening pictures
