Organizers say the goal was to send a message that America is a nation of refugees and that it must continue to keep its doors open.

This menorah was very tall and the spirit of those celebrating was warmly welcoming. (NEVER had a latke this GOOD!) Given to us by two lovely kids.
As 6 pm approached and the city maintenance truck was still lighting the menorah from the ‘cherry picker’, the crowd that gathered was looking “suspiciously” UN-political.
Debbie Almontaser (of Intifada NYC /Kalil Gibran infamy) is now working with the Muslim Community (Consultative) Network (and still pulling a NY principal’s salary perhaps?)
The IMAM below is from Syria. He joined with Jewish, Muslim & Christian Brooklynites to light the menorah, to welcome refugees & to stand against “Islamophobia”.
He spoke and sang a Muslim prayer.
Next, this Brooklyn politician, Brad Lander, sang a poem written by the infamous anti-Zionist, TONY KUSHNER.

Linda is Exec Dir. Arab American Assoc NY. The crowd adulation was effusive, most likely a portent of what these BROOKLYN Soc/Commie/Progs have in store for her: POLITICAL OFFICE of the highest order.
Sarsour ALWAYS has a LONG list of “VIOLENCE against Muslims” that she rattles off in speech after speech, claiming that ISLAM has been here at the creation of the United States – via slavery and making NO MENTION of the SLAVE TRADERS of ISLAM, THEN AND NOW.
They formed a Circle Of LOVE around LINDA – To keep her SAFE from the “anti-Muslim violence she claims is getting out of control.”

As I was leaving the menorah protest (in support of open borders) I had a brief look at the counter-protest that Rabbi Lippman referred to earlier: No to Open Borders – We Can’t Vet them, Don’t Let Them In. Protect Americans FIRST.
They ended with some folk-singing (of course).
BTW- “This Little Light of Mine” is a Christian Gospel song – not a secular soc/commie/prog song – (just sayin)

After attending FOUR consecutive events held by these PROG-insurgents, I felt numb from listening to days of their fast and loose mantras. Their message never strayed: Anti-Trump/Anti-America/Pro-Islam/ pro-Refugees aka Open Borders claiming their goal was to send a message of PEACE, “that America is a nation of refugees and that it must continue to keep its doors open.“
