AL QUDS DAY

Al-Quds Day ("Jerusalem Day"), March 13, 2026 in Times Square, is an annual event held by Falestinians on the last Friday of Ramadan established by Ruhollah Khomeini in 1979 to express solidarity with Falestine and to show support for Iran’s Islamic Regime .

Al-Quds (القدس, "The Holy") is the Arabic name for Jerusalem.

Organized by the local Socialist/ Marxist orgs the anti -Israel/ anti USA  speakers declared their support for Hamas, Hezbollah, and the IRGC, (the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps)

They claim Jerusalem belongs to the Muslims (and the Falestinians) but they also condemn the USA  (Empire) and support the Islamist Republic of Iran.

A peaceful resolution in the Holy Land doesn't sell papers so the MEDIA devours their propaganda like candy,

The Al Quds Day protest included:

• Protesters displayed flags associated with Lebanese Hezbollah and images of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
•  The event was part of nationwide demonstrations, with involvement from groups such as the Workers World Party and the ANSWER Coalition.
• Counter-protesters also appeared, leading to high tensions, and the event was monitored by police due to its controversial nature.
• Global Context: This was part of international Al-Quds Day (International Jerusalem Day).

Part 3 -The rally was mainly organized by prominent anti-Israel groups such as Pal-Awda, the Bronx Anti-War Coalition  and the Workers World Party.

"No Pride in Genocide" 32nd Annual Dyke Parade-NYC- an anti-Zionist Parade

 June 29, 2024. NYC's  32nd Annual Dyke March on Fifth Avenue. They declared it was not a Parade but a PROTEST.

A protest march against GENOCIDE. It was  pro-"falafelstin"- anti-Israel- which got some critical press the day before, causing them to release these statements (open pictures in new tab to enlarge for reading)

 

As they gathered on the west side of Bryant Park, I saw some in costumes, many in the parade genocide t-shirt (palestine is listed on it) and some dedicated to freeing the boob. (Part 2 Flickr Slide Show follows)

 

However, as they began to line up, the pre-march chants ( FREE FREE Palestine) added to the anti-Israel spirit ..

After a drunk pushed his way west on 42nd St (making the ladies a bit nervous) the Dyke Parade pulled itself together ... and headed for 5th avenue.

 

Their  parade banner left NO DOUBT- again- that  their march was in support of "falafelstin", NOT Israel.

The steps of the Fifth Ave Library were JAMMED with people (and occasional signs) .

It made for a good photo-op and once the parade began, they joined the march. (Flickr slideshow Part 1 next)

As they marched down Fifth Ave, the parade's stance  against Israel was obvious with signs like these supporting BDS. (Boycott, Divest, Sanction

What I saw on a few of their t-shirts and signs were declarations of support for lesbians, dykes, trans-jews , trans children ... or just plain trans....  butches and faggots.

The mastectomy scars of the trans parade-goers were proudly displayed by many [some with tape some without, some just scars] There is so much more in both slide shows.

The drum corps is a favorite of mine. I enjoy the choreography as well; a definite crowd-pleaser.

.I have a personal dislike for the so-called 'lawyers' in the green hats and their little note pads.

And the 'children' who hold hands like pre-schoolers, stopping traffic at all the cross-town intersections .

I find that banner annoying cause these cops are so laid-back.

 Stayed with the parade only to about 37th street. I'd seen the whole march and had no need to go to Washington Square.  Dykes yearning for the FALL OF EMPIRE? Enough already.

Once down town, the Washington Square fountain was very much enjoyed by the dykes-on-parade;it was VERY HOT.

Marxist Anti-War Protest on MLK Day demands Stop NATO Expansion -Times Sq

Jan. 14, 2023.  Times Square. On a very cold day (about 23 F/ -5 C) our fingers and hands were very cold., but no matter, the protest went on as the Socialist. Marxist, Hard Core Left gathered in Times Square - on Martin Luther King Day - using this day to march against the Imperialist, War-Mongering United States.

Proclaiming this to be a Global Issue, they demanded "Say NO to NATO. STOP U.S. WARS. End all U.S. Wars!"

Statement from Protest: "It is crucial that opponents of the U.S. war machine stand up for peace as the Biden administration and Congress deepen their proxy battle in Ukraine!  In the federal budget that was just passed and signed into law, the U.S. government has committed an additional $45 billion to this effort. In another provocative escalation, the Biden administration announced that it was sending the advanced Patriot missile system to Ukraine -- bringing a catastrophic direct conflict with Russia ever closer."

Palis call for annihilation of Israel as NYC Jews Rally Against Hate

 

April 20, 2022 - NYC- Near Israeli Consulate .

Anti-Israel chants of "From the River to the Sea" and "Intifada. Intifada"  show support for "occupied Palestine" at this Emergency Demonstration. 

This followed on the heels of the so-called "attacks" on the "al-Aqsa Mosque" [aka the Temple Mount] . Palis claiming to be the victims ... never the aggressors.

The intended location for the protest was across from the consulate (aka the ZIONIST Mission). However, the NYPD appeared to have relocated them further away, in the plaza outside WPIX at 42nd and 2nd ave.

 The rally was led by Nerdeen Kiswani, Within Our Lifetime – United for Palestine and Laila Boutros, Samidoun NY/NJ.

Part 3 video. The protestors chanted for about an hour, after which their hatred of Israel lead them to the streets of Manhattan. "We don't want a Two State ... ?(We want all of it)?" It is right to rebel. Israel Go To Hell.  Stop the U.S. War Machine. Resistance is Justified when people are occupied. There is only one solution, Intifada Revolution"

The crowd was youthful, with older protestors from familiar Leftist organizations like Veterans for Peace  .... all denouncing the crimes of the "Zionist" State and supporting the resistance of the Palestinians  .... a message also embraced by the shameful Neturei Karta (an anti-Zionist Orthodox Jewish group) .

 
Later, after the "emergency" demonstration  ... to stand with "Palestine" ...  the Palis  took to the streets of mid-town Manhattan.  Hundreds of demonstrators (maybe a couple hundred) marched  a few blocks to 58th and 5th Ave, outside the Plaza Hotel to rant and scream at themselves ... again. Stomping on the Israeli flag as they marched thru the streets:

"A jew tramples the Israeli flag as hundreds of protesters in the US city of New York organized a rally on Thursday to denounce the treatment of Palestinians by the Israeli regime and call for an end to the occupation of their territories."
