Drag Queen Story Hour Protest at Cricket’s Candy Creations

 Dec 16, 2023 - Lower Manhattan- 11 am - 1 pm.
Yes it is now 2024. (I got the flu) slowed me down.
But, still gonna share the protests, even if a bit late.

This Drag Story Hour protest wasn't looking like a typical protest. 11 am and there was just a small crowd of leftist enablers gathered in front of Cricket's Candy Creations,  a few police and me. Not even any moms and kids.

The actual protest did not take off until about 11:45 when the G.O.D Squad arrived. (While the moms and kids remained AWOL)

The noisy protestors confronted each other but, what mattered was the children. WHERE were the children?

Are the protests making a difference? With the lack of attendance ... maybe so.

This day there was an oddly casual approach to crowd control by the NYPD: Not very serious yellow caution tape tied to large orange bell cones on the sidewalk was definitely low-key.

Every one was close... many times so close they could touch ... as both sides continued to taunt each other.

And still...no children.

Of course, noise, lots of noise from the leftist enablers: drums. clappers, cowbells. (percussion was the main offender.) Commotion. Lots of commotion.

Maybe the noise scared the children away. And "UNFUCK the World "I'm sure wasn't welcomed by the mothers.

Hefty debates included warnings of the Quran and messages from the leftist enablers, like a red face scarf that said: "Essential and Excluded" along with the ubiquitous rainbow umbrellas.

.The left always covers their faces... that too, is surely not very welcoming to the children.

  x Sorry for Cricket's Candy Creations, it seemed like a really nice store for kids and all. But maybe, in the future,  they'll think of offering someone less offensive .... perhaps a grandparent, a firefighter or a police officer.

BTW- we were told the store was charging for the Story Hour. If so, maybe that discouraged attendance since the libraries are free.

The kids sure seemed to be a No Show.

Addendum: Highly recommend the "Sound of Silence". Just saw it on Prime Video. With Epstein's list of pedophiles in the news of late, it remains vitally important to SAVE THE CHILDREN.

On Dec 17, 2022, the Guardians of Divinity (G.O.D) gathered to protest the Drag Queen Story Hour(DQSH) aimed at very young children.

The NYPD forced them into the street .... which increased the volume of the protest voices since the ANTIFA /Rise and Resist protestors blocked the entrance to the library (and they were VERY loud)

.An  unnecessary addition this day was the predictably bare-breasted Crackhead Barney (who was welcomed by the ANTIFA's) and the district Councilman, Erik Bottcher. Bottcher was busily posting to his social media  with NO MENTION of the offensive flasher, CrackHead Barney who announced she would be holding a DQSH outside the library ....  and the ANTIFA protestors welcomed her. With her breasts flopping out of her costume, "Barney" announced she would be holding a Story Hour on the street, with  the soc/commie/leftists welcoming her... NO matter what she does,

.Does the pornographic Crackhead Barney  represent the pro-DQSH protesters? [crickets] Instead, what the social media/media promoted that day was Councilman Bottcher's "Faces of Hate" mantra .... without addressing , "Are these Drag Queens appropriate for young children?

.AGAIN, the Guardians of Divinity  asked, WHY is it important to expose toddlers to these glittery, bewigged costumed men ---- as though they are a normal part of growing up. Why must these Story Hours teach children about cross-dressing men with books like "The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish."

This is unnecessary indoctrination. They claim it is not to encourage male children to explore Drag ....but what else will they take away from this. Particularly with the types of books and songs on the line up of ' acceptable" materials.

Unfortunately, Bottcher had one exchange with a protestor that allowed him to social media  loop his 'faces of hate" mantra, that any protest against DQSH's is a hate-fest against LGBTQ+'s  .... and the MEDIA was a willing purveyor of those lies.

But, the Guardians of Divinity are NOT Faces of Hate and feeding the media misleading sound bites led the Guardians to demand an apology from their Councilman. Two Days later they went to the Councilman's office to demand a public apology.

Unfortunately he HID inside and then promoted AGAIN a querulous story that they had stormed the building. The videos in the next post support the Guardians as having respectfully approached the councilman's office. (WHERE he HID.

Sadly, the lies have taken hold. and the children are the losers.
