News Flash from Peoples Cube: A Pro-McCain march on the Upper West Side in Manhattan on Sunday, September 21, 2008. A group of McCain-Palin supporters dare to march through the Upper West Side - infidels in the liberal Mecca. Local "progressives" boo, jeer, and flip fingers at them with a rage they never display even to this country's enemies. We would like them to take a look at themselves in this video and maybe learn a few things about the human condition that the academia has obviously left out.

16th Annual Tug Boat Race on Hudson

The Squirrel Brigade found a wonderful American past time on the Hudson: a Tug Boat Race!

The Ross Sea won the title with a nifty time of 5 minutes, 37 seconds, edging out the runner-up, Maryland Sea, by four seconds.

"It was a tight race," said Greg Aitken, the 54-year-old captain of the Ross Sea. "We prepared for it all week. We tweaked our computers, did our homework. I'm happy for the boat and for the company."

He then added with a smile, "She's a lean, mean towing machine."

The race was not without some controversy, though. The captain of the third-place finisher, The Rosemary McAllister, said he questioned the official finishing times.
