We Stand With Israel Rally (April 25, 2010)

Update: NINETEEN short VIDEOS of SPEAKERS are NOW POSTED (scroll down)

was held in front of the Israeli Consulate on Sunday, April 25, 2010. The treatment of Israel during the last several weeks by President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and spokesmen for the Administration has been an unprecedented attempt to humiliate the Jewish State and a willful isolation of it among the community of nations. The People of Israel are demoralized and feel abandoned by the lack of any strong and meaningful statement and vigorous, public demonstrations sponsored by any of the major and established Jewish organizations in support of Israel’s position regarding Jerusalem. This Rally is meant to show there is STRONG Support for Israel in America. Shame Shame on Obama and his Administration for abandoning Israel.

Slide show of Rally:

Because of the rain, had to stay with camera trying to film and keep camera dry wasn't easy (nor real successful) so didn't manage to get good crowd shots. It was a good turn-out crowd, in spite of the rain....about 2000.

Save St. Vincent's Hospital Rally(and the closing) NYC (4-24-10)

St. Vincent's Catholic Hospital, a 160-year old institution in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, closed for good on Friday, April 30, 2010, after months of feuding and years of financial struggles. St. Vincent's is no longer with us.

DSCN6781 copyright

July 7, 2010. (Yes, it took too long to post this report from April 24th) But, sadly, the situation hasn't improved...

DSCN6632 copyright

More hospital closings are bound to follow....

DSCN6628 copyright 2

The situation will only get worse now that Obama has appointed
"health expert, Donald Berwick, to run the Medicare and Medicaid programs; the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that provide care to seniors and the poor. Another horrid appointment by Obama. Berwick has been placed at the heart of Obama's overhaul of our nationalized healthcare and Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell correctly accused the Obama administration of arrogantly circumventing the American people by appointing "one of the most prominent advocates of rationed health-care to implement this national (healthcare) plan." VSB: God Help Us All.

DSCN6587 copyright

This Marxist-Socialist juggernaut won't stop til we are all dead or dying; we are expendable....
"The shortsighted liberal left, who fear questions, responsibility, and honesty only slightly less than they fear discussing real solutions to real problems, are hell-bent on destroying this nation financially. Their own value systems and beliefs are the true culprits, but you can't convince them of that." American Thinker

These 'progressives' are
so out-of-touch with reality, they aren't capable of accepting that they have only themselves to blame.

A community marching and railing against the very machine (the organizations and politicos) that they support.

DSCN6625 copyright

They demanded comprehensive health services to the lower West Side but these were demands made to the same Lefty-Union-Progressive-Workers Party-Politicos who made the destructive mess that killed St. Vincent's !

DSCN6601 copyright

With their John Edwards lawsuits and unrealistic union demands, there was no where to go but 'down and out".

DSCN6622 copyright

No "mea culpas" from the local pols: Tom Duane, Scott Stringer, Jerry Nadler etc
. See VIDEO of these politicos the day before the march in a NY Daily News post: here . Their hypocrisy: predictable. Lots of blame for nameless others; for
someone else, anyone else: Must be someone above their pay-grade?

DSCN6670 copyright

NOT ONE of them suggested that maybe Obama-Care might not be lookin' so good....

DSCN6648 copyright

See more of the Rally March here (slide-show pics)

They were mad at Mayor Bloomberg and Christine Quinn; mad at the Catholic Church (!) but where was the anger for the unions ...or Pelosi and company

DSCN6748 copyright

No names on that coffin, that we can see....

DSCN6750 copyright

More pictures of the Rally at the Hospital below (slide-show)

The videos: Part 1 is Tom Duane (Progressive-Workers Party friendly-New York State Senator) Very amusing to watch the nurses ( none of whom complained about their union's demands) as they heckled Duane with " Whata ya gonna do!"! (a sweet reward for standing in the very hot sun)His pretty words were just not cutting it.

Part 2: The head of the nurses' union wanted an apology from Duane for turning them (the nurses?) out of a meeting. They didn't get that apology, that I'm aware of but, she had not an angry word against her union either....

(Part 3) A community activist (the MC of sorts) had lots to criticize, but didn't hear any complaints from him about Obama, Pelosi or Reid....

Part 4 - Scott Stringer (Borough President) Has to deal with the crowd as did Duane. The crowd wasn't easily pacified and they were the very people who voted them in to office (and will do so again!)

April 30, 2010. It was a sad day for St. Vincent's. And with the closing of the hospital, they held their last mass inside. There was a beautiful church within the hospital. (Couldn't find any pictures of the chapel other than the one below)

More background and follow-up:

St Vincents hospital closed for good

And an article from

DSCN6655 copyright

A quote from the SEIU -hypocrites : "Kevin Finnegan, political director of 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, said, "It would be outrageous for the state to even entertain offers to close the only hospital that services hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers who work or live on the West Side of Manhattan below 59th Street.") Come on guys, answer the question from those UNION NURSES yelling at the rally...

DSCN6715 copyright 2

"What are you going to DO" about saving even more St. Vincent's from closing...(crickets chirping)

Obama-Care will continue (not end) jammed Emergency Rooms and rationing .... (see the appointment
63 years old, pediatrician, Donald Berwick ! )

DOCTOR Berwick is on record from 2009 , "The decision is not whether or not we will ration care - the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open. And right now, we are doing it blindly."

A few more links on St. Vincent's. Go here and here . And the map below, gives an over-view of the emergency room situation on on the island.

Some more history: St. Vincent's Hospital fought to save lives for more than 160 years, treating everyone from survivors of the Titanic in 1912 to New Yorkers fleeing the terror attack on the World Trade Center. The hospital founded by four Roman Catholic nuns in a Greenwich Village brownstone was also ground zero in the battle against AIDS.

Here's some interesting readers' comments from NY Daily News :

"If St. Vincent's had been able to build the planned state-of-the-art facility on the site of the O'Toole building, they could've offered services to well-heeled patients willing to pay. This income would have reduced the debt, which could have been paid-off. The NIMBY crowd went on the attack, "it'll cut off the sun from my windows" ... "this is a residential neighborhood" "..." the building is too tall." All specious arguments. Villagers are to blame for closing the hospital they claim to have cared about." ( VSB: It was well-known and well-heeled opposition .... Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins among others)

"Well, you people there in the West Village were happy to reward Quinn to an illegal 3rd term along with her boss that she genuflects to, his Highness the Emperor. I'm curious to know how many people in that crowd voted for Quinn and Bloomberg believing that both will be angels looking over their best interests? I'm sure with Bloomberg's clout he could have got some investors to come up with money to keep St. Vincent open. He sure found money to build stadiums that sit empty most of the year. St. Vincent has people in it 24/7. That is what you get for not being civic minded. Quinn should have been voted out for bringing that illegal bill to the floor to overturn term limits. Instead, you all are selfish, thinking only of yourselves, instead of the greater good, so you rewarded her with a 3rd illegal term. You have no one to blame but yourselves."

More in the NY Daily News here and here

Found some compelling archived reports in the Village Voice on St. Vincent's from after 9-11: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4

IN CONCLUSION: This report is about so much more than just the tragic closing of this's about the future of all our hospitals.

It's about Obama Care; Pelosi-Reid and Company (not rent her t-shirt)

Patriots counter Leftists at US Immigration and Customs Office in NYC (4-23-10)

April 23, 2010. The anarchists called it an EMERGENCY PROTEST AGAINST FASCIST ARIZONA IMMIGRATION LAW. Every anti-American Leftist seemed to be marching round and round in front of the Immigration Building; demanding that there be NO penalty for breaking our immigration laws.

Of course, if you look closely you'll see many familiar faces...Put a call out for any anti-American rally and they come running!
These rallies are their Mother's Milk. They get up every day with one thought: only.... to CHANGE America (permanently) in to another Cuba or Venezuela. They never rest; NEITHER SHOULD WE.

The counter-protestors (Patriots-all) were there to explain that there are very clear NON- racist reasons for the Arizona Law.

Meanwhile: Come to this country LEGALLY.

Arizona is an important step towards enforcing America's immigration laws. The counter rally was small but mighty and it annoyed the lefties (a lot) BTW- the Federal cops were MARVELOUS! Next a short video (Part 1 of 2) :

The Patriots had some fun responding back and forth with t
wo guys in a passing who yelled the tired "you're all racists"...

And Part 2 is video is of the anarchists as round and round they go...

Last is a slide show of the anarchists and patriots:

The Obamnation comes to Cooper Union ( to 'Save' the Nation)

Cooper Union. New York City. April 22, 2010 (scroll down for video)

And Barack Hussein Obama....

Whether we want his help or not (and generally it has become so "NOT") but Obama continues his planned deconstruction of the American brick at a time.... undeterred cause his "Change" is the "Hope" of his fellow Marxists. (The media was there, of course)

The game plans included not even notifying the Mayor of New York City. Mayor Bloomberg found out from the blogosphere.(Isn't that sweet) And Barry's audience ....was his usual handpicked crowd of sycophants. (Everyone else, had to stay far, far away...)

"The People" just might question and doubt the Great Future that the Big Zero has in store...

Arrived late....had a conflict...but not sure there was much to see other than the media and a few lonely, happy (?) protestors. (Remember, Zero had the location in lock-down)

And there was the unfortunate and disturbing Neturei Karta....

Slideshow of pictures :

Feeling a bit numb. The elections in November 2010 will either stop this putsch or our future will continue to snowball in to the Hell Fires of Marxism. It's that close...

Tax Day Tea Party In New York City - 2010

Update: Scroll down ....Both videos are now posted (video 2 may still be processing)

One year later and the movement has grown. America is mad-as-hell and clearly is not taking taxes without representation lying down.

It's no surprise to America (just to the police and the MSM)but we could have told them....The Tea Party crowd would be huge. It was much larger than anticipated by the police, for sure..

At first, around 7 PM, the officers attempted to clear the Tea Party activists from the East side of 8th avenue...

They kept insisting the Tea Party had to stay on the West side of 8th.

That didn't last long, as the crowd was growing fast. They moved some and new people arrived to fill the spots.

The police GAVE UP! There were just too, too many patriots to force on to one side of 8th avenue!

good one...

The media was all there, though more likely just to do their usual interviews of those filing their taxes at the last-minute. (That crowd was stretched up-town and down, directly in front of the post office.)

another good one...

Wonder how much coverage of the rally will be on the news since CNN, ABC, CBS were all on the scene. There were great speeches and great signs...nothing outrageous...just the not....

Slide show of the Tea Party Patriots:

Now...What about the anarchists (of course they were there).

So sweet, was how futile their attempts at disrupting the rally became. They were out numbered. They couldn't gain access to the Tea Party Rally. Too crowded!

So finally they took their bright Red Acorn flag ...

and crossed back to the East side of 8th (attempting to be noticed by the media and those who passed by)

The most offensive sign I came across had one reporter spending way too much time talking to a pretty face for his camera...

most surely...NOT her poster. (wonder how far she'd get if that was Big Mo)

One guy (in the red hat) yelled, "Sarah Palin is a quitter" over and over

while this double-sided sign was held high:

The Ron Paulites (and others) hung-out at the Post office. The police let them stay on that block...yet they were having a cow because the Tea Partiers were on the East side of 8th...

Slide show of Crashers:

All in all it was a FABULOUS Tea Party:

Loved this T-shirt ....

Yep, the Anarchists...."Lame and Tame!

VIDEOS of "THEM" (The Tea Party Crashers) may still be processing...

This is bits of video I caught of the Tea Party crashers (also known as ACORN and Bail Out The People) not being allowed in to the Tea Party enclosure at 30th and 8th Avenue. The police sent the Crashers back to the the East side of 8th Avenue where our "pretty young thing" held-court with the obscene picture of tea-bagging. Then headed over to the front of the Main Post Office where long lines of people filing at the last minute, were being entertained by a commuter and the " Violin Femmes"....only in NY ....

FYI- switched back and forth between my two cameras...trying to get some footage in spit of the night lighting...sometimes I didn't have the best light...

AND the video of "US" : Joined up with the Patriots on the East side of 8th avenue (between 31st and 30th st) The police were attempting to clear our side over to the West side (for awhile) and as will be evident later in the was pointless..more and more of the Tea Party Patriots kept showing up!
